Italian Bibliography of the History of Science

The Bibliografia Italiana di Storia della Scienza, (Italian Bibliography of the History of Science) published by the Casa Editrice Olschki from 1985 to 1998 in the series "Biblioteca di bibliografia italiana" (Library of Italian Bibliography), annually collects writings on the history of science published in Italy: monographs, articles in periodicals, selections of miscellaneous works and book reviews. The Bibliografia Italiana di Storia della Scienza constitutes a crucially important and complete informational resource on Italian contributions in this discipline.

Each volume is divided into two sections (a section classified by subject matter and a section of reviews and catalogued lists) and is accompanied by two indexes (index of authors and titles and index of subjects).

Since 1999, the Bibliografia has no longer been published in a printed version, but is released continuously on the web.
