Felice Fontana and his Museum
On the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of Felice Fontana (1730-1805), one of the first Italian scientists to achieve international renown, the Institute and Museum of the History of Science and the Natural History Museum of the University of Florence are presenting a series of lectures (in Italian) that will take place in the Tribuna di Galileo in the Florence Natural History Museum – "La Specola" Zoology Department (Via Romana 17, Florence) from November 16 to December 7, 2005, according to the following schedule:

The initiative, sponsored by the Accademia Roveretana degli Agiati and the Civic Museum of Rovereto, takes place in conjunction with the exhibition Omaggio a Felice Fontana ("Tribute to Felice Fontana" - October 15, 2005 – February 19, 2006), organized by the Civic Museum of Rovereto and curated by Renato Mazzolini and Marta Poggesi.
