In the arcade of Palazzo Piccolomini a series of working models, built with con historical and philological attention, allows visitors to go through some stages in the extraordinary story of sky observation, with particular attention to Galileo’s revolutionary contribution. The event, which is part of Galilean celebrations, is also intended to remind the generous hospitality that the Piccolomini Family offered the Tuscan scientist after 1633 dramatic process. It is possibile to visit Pope Pius II’s residence as well, the library and the hanging garden.
